ARMCHAIR
Louis XVI style armchair
This armchair is an accurate recreation from a design in a XIXth century drawing in the Colombostile archives.
The armchair's structure is hand-carved solid lime wood, with gold applied by water gilding, a technique that dates back to the XIIIth century.
The padding consists of foam rubber and Dacron in different thicknesses. The seat is made of braided elastic belts.
The cushions on the seat are filled with goose down.
The armchair is upholstered in velvet and patterned silk.
