In the history of design, only a very few designs can be continuously reinterpreted, while retaining a distinctive personality. Among these rare projects stays the Fortuny lamp, created in 1907 by the Venetian textiles trader, set designer and artist Mariano Fortuny, overturning the technical lighting and aesthetic rules of the time.
Reintroduced over the years by Pallucco both in the original version, intended to create diffused lighting, and in many new versions which explore the world of fabrics and fashion design, Fortuny appears in another outfit created with fabrics crafts from the famous textiles company Rubelli.
