MAISON & OBJET PARIS - FENDI CASA

Design, creativity and craftsmanship are blended to define the Fendi Casa Collection presented at Maison & Objet 2016.

A living proposal that anticipates new concepts defined by unique aesthetic codes and resulting in harmonious contaminations between design and fashion with an osmotic process of stylistic and functional enrichment.
Complements conveying a classical yet contemporary lifestyle always in balance between tradition and innovation.

Featuring a distinguished Italian allure, the Collection is defined by a warm atmosphere surrounded by a sophisticated and natural environment. The residence of a cultured aesthete in a constant quest for unique elements. A refined living where the Roman Maison's highest craftsmanship and savoir-faire are perfectly enhanced.

Soft and graphic lines are highlighted by intense shades and vibrant lacquers. Lamé threads and daring colour combinations enhance the wise use of tones, enriched by a new colour palette: caramel, lake green, Prussian blue and sapphire, as well as white and black. Metal shades refine the structures, elegantly coordinated with the surfaces in marble or in Ebony Macassar and Palissandro Dark woods.

Fabrics and yarns reveal Fendi Casa's highest decorative expertise: handmade woven velvets add sophistication thanks to their manufacture recalling ancient techniques, the highest in quality and refinement, while patterns related to the traditional men's tailoring are teamed up with precious geometric jacquards. The animalier theme is reinterpreted with a modern twist: astrakhan and crocodile patterns enhance the Couture allure of the Collection.

The leathers recall the texture touch through grains and volumes that emphasize their softness and value. Extremely refined rubbed leathers are inspired by animal patterns: galuchat, lizard and crocodile in an innovative metallic effect. Furnishings and accessories are enriched in fox, groundhog, natural orylag, which define geometric patterns dear to the art of FENDI fur.

THE COLLECTION

SLOANE SECTIONAL SOFA - Design Toan Nguyen
The Sloane sofa is conceived as a classical solution that features a contemporary design. Its construction is based on a play of contrasting volumes: the wide sofa arms, the chaise longue and the deep seat blend harmoniously with the streamlined seatback and the base. The piping - now adorned with the iconic Selleria stitching - is the distinctive element, by drawing the intersections and outlining an unusual route that mitigates the perception of shapes, celebrating the highest craftsmanship and the maximum attention to details.

BLIXEN ARMCHAIR - Design Toan Nguyen
Formal rigour and aesthetic functionality coexist in the Blixen project defined by a contemporary mood. A line of seating designed for living and office interiors, now complete with a newly launched armchair version. Proportions have been revisited to confer greater comfort without undermining the architectural appeal of the structure with its graphic elements in steel plate. The seat, comfortable and embracing, is composed of a unique leather element stretched with metal buckles, typical of FENDI men's accessories.

ARTU' SOFA - Design Thierry Lemaire
Minimal geometries define the lines of the Artù sofa. In its exclusive round version, Artù creates a perfect harmony between the sharp lines of the seat and the overall circular shape. The profile is distinguished by the position of the sofa arms, elegantly shorter than the structure.

FLEURETTE COFFEE TABLE - Design Thierry Lemaire
Expressive lightness with poetic notes defines the new set of Fleurette coffee tables. The irregular line of the thinned tops and the different heights of the individual elements create a striking dynamism with a floral touch. Metallic brass details fit inside the top in new Palissandro Dark as well as inside the tips of the conical legs, giving strength and modernity.

MADISON SOFA
Defined by a linear and elegant profile, the Madison sofa is an invitation to relax. The broad armrests, low-set respect to the seat back, are as soft as the precious seat upholstered in velvet or leather. The design is enhanced by iconic details such as the piping in Selleria highlighting the shapes, or the refined elements in stainless steel which recall FENDI accessories.

MOONY LOVESEAT
The Moony love seat stands out for its romantic mood and its circular design. Designed for all those who love enveloping seats, Moony recalls a snug nest. A classic complement that Fendi Casa revisits in its proportions so that it may elegantly team up with the accessories of the Collection or play a primary role inside the room.

FIDA COFFEE TABLE
Fida is the family accessories entirely upholstered in leather and characterized by the iconic Selleria stitching which outlines the piping and seat. With its innovative silhouette, the Fida pouf doubles up as an excellent flat rest surface; it is presented in four different sizes enhanced by the new shades of blue.

HERON SUSPENSION LAMP
Fendi Casa total living is enriched by the Heron suspension. Its linear structure elegantly contrasts the volume of the two lampshades positioned at different heights, creating a freestanding or tabletop accessory with great visual purity.
