KERA  ecodesign™ is the signature of sustainable design works  created by Italian architect Laura Cera.

Bolognese, 1979. Graduated from the Art School of Bologna, she graduated in Architecture at the University of Ferrara. For years, she passionately dedicate herself to the design of lamps, furniture and interior decorations made with recycled natural materials. Trunks, branches, leaves and barks find new life in unique and precious artworks, modeled by nature and hand worked.

KERA means

The pseudonym KERA, at the evident assonance with the surname of the architect, unites the meaning in Japanese of steel block from which is forged katana, the traditional samurai sword.  Like a sword of the good under appeal with determination, the ecodesigner has a deep desire to share through her works her love for nature, source of extraordinary creativity.

KERA for BRICALE™

In 2014 the Arch. Laura Cera launches BRICALE ™, the new brand of exclusive works designed by her and produced in Venetian briccola  wood. Briccole  are the typical wooden poles that characterize the Venice lagoon  landscape. This oak wood, properly treated, shows extraordinary aesthetic characteristics enhanced by the originality of the design.
BRICALE ™ brings an authentic piece of Venice in your life, offering furniture and precious gift to enrich the living spaces with the beauty, the history and the timeless charm of this beloved worldwide city.

4 to10 April  2015 the artwork ETHEREAL, elegant sculture chair,  is exhibited at the Royal Opera Arcade (ROA) Gallery in London.
